Karrie Baloga, a Colorado-bound senior at Cornwall Central High in New York, discuss her third appearance at Balboa Park in San Diego to compete at the Champs Sports Cross Country Championships, seeking her third career All-America honor and looking to become the first female competitor from her state since former Cornwall Central standout Aisling Cuffe in 2010. Baloga is attempting to become the fifth girls individual winner from New York and is also trying to join Erin Davis from Saratoga Springs, Aislinn Ryan of Warwick Valley and Cuffe as a three-time All-American, following an 11th-place finish in 2019 and a fourth-place performance last year.
